Vol. 420 No. 4

Written Answers. - Local Authority Capital Allocations.

Ruairí Quinn

Question:

103 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Finance if he has cleared with the Minister for the Environment the capital allocations for each local authority in respect of (a) housing - local authorities, (b) sanitary services and (c) roads, excluding the national primary; when each local authority will be notified of the relevant sums; when they will receive the moneys; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The total Exchequer capital provisions provided for Housing, Roads and Sanitary Services are detailed in the Vote of the Department of the Environment in the Revised Estimates Volume and Public Capital Programme. The question of allocations for individual local authorities is a matter for the Minister for the Environment.
