Question:152 Mr. Leyden asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the circumstances concerning the delay in carrying out an inspection in respect of a new house grant for a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.

There has been no undue delay. A recent inspection revealed certain unsatisfactory aspects of construction and, as a result, a senior inspector is being asked for a report. The applicant will be notified of the outcome as soon as possible.
