I propose to take Questions Nos. 92, 93 and 95 together.
As the Deputy will be aware, 80 additional remedial posts serving over 240 schools were allocated in the current school year as part of a national distribution under the Programme for Economic and Social Progress.
These appointments were made following the collection of data and information from schools by my Department's Primary Inspectorate. The posts were then allocated on the basis of priority of need, as indicated by the information collected by the Inspectorate.
The needs of schools which do not have the services of a remedial teacher, including the schools mentioned by the Deputy, will be kept under review.
