Question:78 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Finance if he will outline his plans for new legislation in respect of national parks and heritage areas.

A Draft Scheme of a Bill to provide protection for national parks, national historic parks, national heritage gardens and national heritage sites has been prepared and will be submitted to Government shortly.
I hope to introduce the Bill in the Dáil during the year ahead.
