Question:202 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Health whether an institution (details supplied) in Cork is a nursing home or a sheltered housing complex.

The institution referred to by the Deputy provides sheltered housing for the elderly and is managed by a voluntary organisation. The development has been supported by Cork Corporation as they have supported other similar projects under a scheme run by the Department of the Environment to assist in the provision of accommodation by non-profit voluntary organisations for the elderly and other disadvantaged persons.
