Question:

220 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Health if, in the event of the North-Western Health Board selling off any of its property in close proximity to the Regional Technical College, Sligo, preference will be given to the regional technical college to purchase this property if it is suitable for playing pitches, sports grounds or any of the other facilities required by the college.

No decision has been taken by the North-Western Health Board to sell property owned by it and adjoining Sligo Regional Technical College. Should the board decide to do so, it will be obliged to follow the normal procedures with regard to the sale of the property.
