42 Proinsias De Rossa asked the Minister for the Environment whether his Department accept the recommendations made in draft water quality management plan for Dublin Bay; if it is intended to implement the recommendations; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I understand that the draft water quality management plan for Dublin Bay is at present on public display. It will be a matter for the local authorities concerned, as a reserved function, to make the plan in due course taking into consideration representations made in relation to the draft.
