Vol. 421 No. 4

Written Answers. - Tramore (Waterford) Sewerage Facilities.

Austin Deasy

Question:

57 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for the Environment if he will have a study carried out at Tramore, County Waterford to ensure that the provision of sewerage facilities, are organised in such a manner to prevent pollution of the land, water and air; and if he will discuss this matter in detail with Waterford County Council because of the public disquiet over the present situation.

An Environmental Impact Study has been carried out by Waterford County Council on the proposed Tramore Sewerage Scheme, and following the prescribed public consultation, has been submitted to me for assessment, I will determine the matter as soon as possible.
