Question:64 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will provide the necessary finance to allow the proposed new library for Listowel, County Kerry, go to tender.

Approval in principle issued to this proposal on 24 May 1991. The detailed sketch/design and cost plan documentation were submitted to my Department by Kerry County Council on 4 June 1992 and are being considered in conjunction with An Chomhairle Leabharlanna. A decision will be notified to the Council as soon as possible.
