Vol. 421 No. 4

Written Answers. - Scheme for Travellers.

Mary Flaherty

Question:

65 Miss Flaherty asked the Minister for the Environment when he will approve the urgently needed scheme for travellers at Dunsink Lane, Finglas, Dublin 11, as the revised plans have been with his Department for nine months now.

I refer to the reply to Question No. 97 of 2 April 1992. The proposed development at Dunsink Lane has since been discussed on site with officials of the Corporation with a view to achieving economies and clarifying certain aspects which have been taken up with the Corporation in writing. Their response is now awaited. In the meantime, a revised cost plan was received from the Corporation last week and is being examined.
