Peter Barry

Question:

77 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Defence if he will outline (a) the present strength of the Naval Service and (b) the plans he has to expand the service so that an adequate protection service can be supplied.

The current strength of the Naval Service is 1,037 comprising 130 officers, 898 other ranks and nine cadets.
