Question:

119 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education if a person (details supplied) in County Kildare can gain admission to the College of Surgeons, notwithstanding her age which is three months short of the required age; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 98 and 119 together.

The admission of a student to a third level institution in this country is a matter for the institution concerned in accordance with its general admission requirements and requirements for admission to the individual courses.
