Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Mayo Unemployed.

Question:

16 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Taoiseach if he will outline the average number of males and females unemployed in County Mayo for the years 1987 to 1991 and to date in 1992; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The information requested by the Deputy is contained in a statement which I propose to circulate in the Official Report.

Following is the statement:

Note: There is a discontinuity in the series because of revised statistical coverage from May 1992.
