155 Mr. Harte asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in dealing with the application for an extension to Trenta national school, Letterkenny, County Donegal for which plans have been submitted to his Department; and if, in view of the urgent need for additional accommodation he will give an immediate decision on the matter.

The question of an extension to this school is linked to the appointment of an additional teacher for which a formal application was made recently and which is currently under consideration. A decision will be conveyed to the school authorities as soon as possible.
