Vol. 422 No. 4

Written Answers. - Sligo-Roscommon Road.

Edward Nealon

Question:

193 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for the Environment when it is expected that the planned new road across the Curlews in Counties Sligo and Roscommon will start; if he will outline (1) the estimated duration of the project and (2) the total cost involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I refer to the reply to Questions Nos. 185, 186, 199, 200 and 201 of 10 December 1991. The position remains unchanged in so far as the Curlews by-pass is concerned. The estimated cost of the scheme is £17 million.
