Question:200 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the present position regarding the provision of the Westport augmentation water scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Westport (Mayo) Water Scheme.
Contract documents for the scheme are under examination in my Department at present. However, a certificate is awaited from Mayo County Council confirming that the necessary preliminary arrangements for the planning of the scheme have been finalised. When this certificate is received the proposals will be considered further.
