Question:212 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork is being refused a herd number.

An application form for a herd number was forwarded to the person named in June, 1991 but was not returned to the local office. The person named had previously applied for a herd number in 1987 but was refused as the disease control criteria laid down for the issue of herd numbers were not satisfied.
