Question:225 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will have arrangements made to withdraw a demand for payment of PRSI contributions in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

I understand from inquiries made that the Revenue Commissioners have issued a demand for the payment of arrears of PRSI contributions to the representatives of the late husband of the person concerned. I am having the matter further examined to ascertain if the contributions are properly payable.
