53 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Finance if it is intended to pay all the outstanding pay elements of the Programme for Economic and Social Progress due in December, 1992 and January, 1993, including the full retrospection; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The position in relation to the outstanding pay elements of the Programme for Economic and Social Progress referred to by the Deputy remains as set out in the statement I made following a meeting with the public service unions on 17 January 1992. Copies of that statement have been placed in the Oireachtas Library.
