Question:107 Mr. Cotter asked the Minister for Education whether documents have been prepared for the proposed new school in Shercock, County Cavan; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The current position regarding this project is that tender documents have been completed. Some modifications to the original plans were necessary as a result of which revised local authority permission is required. When this has been received, the question of invitation of tenders for the project will arise for consideration in the context of the available capital, and a decision will be conveyed to the school authorities in due course.
