In so far as my Department are concerned, following are the details of legislation introduced in the Oireachtas since 1989:

1. The Destructive Insects & Pests (Amendment) Act, 1991 (No. 4 of 1991) dated 20 March 1991 was passed by both Houses of the Oireachtas on 13 March 1991 and is in operation.

In addition to the foregoing, in accordance with undertakings given in the Oireachtas, legislation to amend the Animal Remedies Act, 1956; the Dairy Produce Act 1924; the Creameries Acts, 1924-1928 and the Milk & Dairies Act, 1935 and 1956, is at an advanced stage of preparation.
