188 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Education if he will meet a deputation from Longwood Vocational School, Longwood, Enfield, County Meath, who are anxious to have an extension built to their school; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
My Department has requested proposals from County Meath Vocational Education Committee regarding the future of Longwood vocational school having regard to its low enrolment and demographic trends in the area. The Department is awaiting a response.
I have no record of a request to meet with a deputation from this school. However, I would be pleased to arrange to officials from my Department to meet such a deputation. The Deputy could contact my Department to arrange a suitable date.
