343 Mr. Belton asked the Minister for the Environment when he will sanction the invitation of tenders for the fire station in Longford; and if his attention has been drawn to the long delays and setbacks in relation to this matter.

Longford County Council's revised proposals for a new headquarters fire station are being examined in my Department. I will communicate with the council in the matter as soon as possible.
