352 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received all the necessary preliminary information for the proposed Lisdoonvarna regional water scheme in County Clare which is urgently required; and if it is his intention to sanction the signing of this sanitary services contract in 1992.
The preliminary report for the Lisdoonvarna Regional Water Supply Scheme was approved in June 1991 and contract documents for site investigations are currently under examination in my Department. Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the Water and Sanitary Services Programme, I cannot indicate when approval to proceed further with this scheme may issue.
