Vol. 423 No. 1

Written Answers. - Naas (Kildare) Sewerage Scheme.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

367 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the current position in regard to the implementation of the sewage scheme for Roberstown, Naas, County Kildare; if preparatory work has been completed in relation to the scheme; if he expects the contractor, if any, to move on site in the near future; if there are any foreseeable problems and/or outstanding matters likely to impede the carrying out of the project; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Kildare County Council were asked to clarify a number of matters in relation to the tender recommendation submitted to my Department. The Council have recently submitted a further report and this is being examined.
