430 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Social Welfare the total amount of moneys paid to social welfare recipients by way of a claim for refund of taxi/hackney car fare for the years ended April 1989, April 1990, April 1991 and April 1992.

The amounts paid in respect of taxi/hackney travel by clients of my Department for the periods in question are as follows:
