92 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Taoiseach if he will outline the number of people unemployed in County Clare for each of the years from 1987 to 1992; and whether there are any forecasts at present for employment/unemployment in County Clare for the future.

95 Mr. Garland asked the Taoiseach if he will give details of the unemployment statistics from each county for each year from 1989 to date by age, sex, qualifications, level of education and between urban/rural.

The following tables 1 to 4 provide information on the number of persons on the Live Register classified by age and sex in each county on the last Friday in August for each of the years 1989 to 1992 inclusive. Information on the qualifications, level of education and area of residence (urban/rural) is not available.

There is a discontinuity in the series because of revised statistical coverage from May 1992.
