Question:161 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Justice if he will outline the number of suspects who received legal advice at Garda Stations in 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990 and 1991.

I am informed by the Garda authorities that records are not maintained in such a way as to make it possible to provide, without the expenditure of a disporportionate amount of Garda resources, the information — in so far as it would be available — sought in the question.
