Vol. 423 No. 1

Written Answers. - Land Registry Delay.

Terry Leyden

Question:

166 Mr. Leyden asked the Minister for Justice the reason for the delay in the registration of a folio number for a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that the dealing in question was lodged in the Land Registry on 11 May 1992 and that it was found necessary to raise queries with the applicant's solicitors following the issue of notice. I am further informed that these queries have been satisfactorily answered and that a fresh notice was issued on 10 September 1992. The dealing will be completed without delay after the expiry of this notice period provided no objections are lodged.
