73 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Education if the tender and contract documents for the new community school in Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim will be signed and completed by the end of October 1992; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

As already notified to concerned interests, the provision of a new community school for Carrick-on-Shannon has been approved and architectural planning is proceeding. This planning has not reached a stage which would allow a contract to be placed by the end of October.
