The Deputy will appreciate that while I have responsibility for approving borrowings of health boards and joint board hospitals, I do not have any such responsibility in respect of borrowings entered into by voluntary health agencies. The information given in respect of these hospitals reflect the level of borrowing which has been agreed with my Department as part of the ongoing funding process of approved services.
