Question:99 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for the Environment when finance will be provided for the construction of a new library at Castlecomer, County Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

An application for approval in principle for a branch library in Castlecomer has been received from Kilkenny County Council and is being examined by my Department in conjunction with An Chomhairle Leabharlanna. A decision will be notified to the council as soon as possible.
