75 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Finance if he has received Cork Corporation's submission for funding in the post-1993 period, compiled at the request of the EC Sub-Regional Review Committee; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
In May 1992, I requested the Sub-Regional Review Committees to prepare submissions setting out their priorities for EC Structural Fund support post-1993. As part of the process the Sub-Regional Review Committees have received submissions from their constituent bodies and a very wide range of interests. I have not received the particular document referred to by the Deputy and I assume that it is Cork Corporation's input to the submission being drawn up by the South-West Sub-Regional Review Committee.
I understand that the submission from the South-East Review Committee is at an advanced stage of preparation and I expect it will be submitted at the end of October.
