Vol. 423 No. 4

Written Answers. - Social Welfare Payments.

Bernard Allen

Question:

138 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health when a disabled person's maintenance allowance will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork who has been on supplementary welfare allowance for the past 18 months and who will not work again.

Payment of disabled persons maintenance allowance in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer, Southern Health Board, with a request that he reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
