Question:

158 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

A new house grant of £1,000 has been paid. There is a claim that, notwithstanding the application having been made in 1983, the appropriate rate of grant is £2,000 instead of £1,000. The applicant has been asked to provide information to support this claim.
