164 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for the Environment if he has agreed to the proposal from Dublin Corporation for a roof replacement as part of the refurbishment of St. Mary's Mansions, Dublin 1; his views on whether this is a sensible and desirable proposal; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Following discussions between officials of my Department and the corporation, further information is awaited from the corporation regarding the significant increase in the estimated cost of the reroofing work previously approved for funding under the remedial works scheme. When this is received, the corporation's current proposals will be further considered.
