52 Mr. V. Brady asked the Taoiseach if he has had an opportunity of examining recent representations from Deputy Vincent Brady on behalf of an establishment (details supplied) in Dublin 1; and if a decision on this particular application has issued.
I understand that the National Heritage Council has received a request for financial assistance from the establishment to which the Deputy refers.
The National Heritage Council distributes national lottery funding to heritage projects subject to my approval. The assessment of any project and decision about whether or not to recommend grant assistance are matters entirely for the National Heritage Council. This application is still under consideration by the council.
