Question:77 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education if a full ESF grant is payable to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

It is understood from Kildare County Council that the person in question was in receipt of a higher education grant for the academic years 1988-89 to 1991-92. No application for renewal of the grant has been received by the council. Neither has an application been received by County Kildare Vocational Education Committee in respect of an ESF maintenance grant.
