129 Mr. Noonan (Limerick East) asked the Minister for Education the reason a student (details supplied) in Dublin 4 is deemed ineligible for ESF funding in respect of fees and maintenance; and if he will re-consider his decision.
The person referred to has already received ESF-aided funding in respect of a two year course at another college. Under the relevant regulations an applicant may not receive further funding for a course at a similar level to that already completed by the applicant and for which she has already received funding.
