Vol. 423 No. 8

Written Answers. - Irish Embassy Complaint Query.

Paul Bradford

Question:

202 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he has received a complaint from a person (details supplied) in County Cork concerning that person's recent dealing with an Irish Embassy overseas; his views on the complaint; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The complaint referred to by the Deputy was received in my office last week. I am concerned that the person in question should have experienced the difficulties he did. I immediately asked that the matter be fully investigated and I shall be responding to the complainant and the Deputy very shortly.
