103 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Education the reason work has not yet started on the second phase of building at St. Kevin's Community College, Fonthill Road, Dublin in view of his commitment in May, 1992 that work would commence in September, 1992; if he will immediately sign the contract documents in order to ensure that the new buildings will be available for the start of the 1993 school year; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The final tender report on this project was received by my Department from the County Dublin vocational education committee on 30 September 1992.

My Department's examination of the tender report has just been completed. I have now agreed that a letter should issue advising the County Dublin vocational education committee that they should proceed with the necessary arrangements leading to the award of a contract.
