Question:104 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Education if school transport will be restored for children (details supplied) in County Mayo.
Written Answers. - School Transport.
The service, as it operated up to the end of the summer term, 1992, cannot be re-established because of insufficient numbers.
It is not possible to provide alternative grant-aid towards the cost of private transport arrangements, because the children, who live less than three miles from the school, do not qualify for such aid.
