Question:111 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Education if he will provide adequate funding for school-going children who depend on the school transport service to attend school.

An allocation of £33.520 million has been provided in the Estimates for the current financial year in respect of schools transport.
I am satisfied that this amount is adequate to provide for the operation of the school transport system.
