Vol. 424 No. 1

Written Answers. - Health Services Entitlement.

Seán Barrett

Question:

129 Mr. S. Barrett asked the Minister for Health if a person (details supplied) would have any medical entitlements if she had to be hospitalised.

Entitlement to health services (including hospitalisation) is on the basis of ordinary residence. If the local health board is satisfied that the person in question is now ordinarily resident in this country then she would be entitled to services on the same basis as any other resident.
