Written Answers. - Tallaght (Dublin) Hospital.

Pat Rabbitte

Question:

71 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Health if he has made a recommendation to the Government concerning the construction of the regional hospital in Tallaght, Dublin 24; if provision will be made in the 1993 estimates for the hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Roger T. Garland

Question:

116 Mr. Garland asked the Minister for Health if there have been any developments regarding the Adelaide Hospital, Dublin 2, and the proposed Tallaght Hospital, Dublin 24.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 71 and 116 together.

The position is that the Report of the Kennedy Group which was set up to examine the functions, scope and scale of the proposed Tallaght Hospital, together with the funding options for building the new hospital is under active consideration at present.
