Question:77 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Health if he will make special arrangements to have a hip operation carried out for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford in view of the extenuating circumstances of this case.

I am glad to inform the Deputy that arrangements are in place to have the person in question admitted to St. Mary's Orthopaedic Hospital, Cappagh for surgery within the next three months.
