Question:

135 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Education if all outstanding grants owing to a primary school (details supplied) in County Wexford will be issued; if in view of the financial difficulties of the school, other validating expenditure for items such as the heating system will be considered for further grant aid.

My Department will have discussions shortly with the Chairman of the Board of Management and will expedite the payment of any outstanding grants due to this school for eligible works.

Applications from the school authorities for grant-aid for any further capital works will be given full consideration.
