139 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education the number of primary and post-primary schools in County Kildare likely to be considered in the context of the financial allocation for the school building programme for 1993; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The capital provision for primary and post-primary school building is made on a global basis and no specific amount is allocated in the estimates for any individual project. The question of which projects can be included in the 1993 building programme will therefore be considered, in due course, in the light of the financial allocation for 1993, when determined, and overall commitments and priorities.
