Vol. 424 No. 2

Written Answers. - Foynes (Limerick) School.

Michael Finucane

Question:

141 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Education the position regarding the future of Stella Maris Secondary School, Foynes, County Limerick beyond 1995 in order to eliminate the uncertainty of parents who are interested in sending their children to this educational establishment; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The question of the future of the Stella Maris Secondary School, Foynes, County Limerick beyond 1995, when the Mercy Order will withdraw from its management, is under consideration in my Department at present. When a decision is reached in the matter it will be conveyed to the interested parties without delay.
