Vol. 424 No. 2

Written Answers. - Bus Passes.

Eamon Gilmore

Question:

131 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Education if he has received complaints from parents of pupils attending the North Bay national school, Kilbarrack concerning the refusal to issue the children with free bus passes; and the steps, if any, he has taken to provide free bus passes for these children.

Complaints were received from two families in the Dublin North-Central area, and, in view of the particular circumstances of their cases, my Department recently allowed them school transport to Dublin North Bay multidenominational national school as an exceptional matter.
